Blues by the ocean are one of my favorite combos. It’s like a slam-dunk to throw on some faded denim or a Cerulean (think blue shutters in Greece) blue that somehow magically accentuates your tan. It’s a match made in heaven if you ask me. 

I threw a load of clothes in my bag for our beachside escape—too many to be honest—and funny enough, without thinking I grabbed almost every navy, denim and blue piece that I own. I packed in less than 20 minutes so I was a chaotic tornado in the process but subconsciously I knew what needed to come along.

Good thing I packed these cool, high-rise distressed jeans from Mother Denim because I literally threw them on at the end of every day. The relaxed fit is ideal and they paired perfectly with a handful of feminine blouses I had—like this LoveShackFancy one (also available here). Plus the frayed edges, I’m all about those unfinished denim hems these days.
