New Year, New Shoes {Giveaway}

With all the holiday madness and Thomas Fire chaos, some girlfriends and I missed out on our annual girls brunch we usually do in December. It’s full of champagne, laughs, carbs and coffee—all the good stuff. So we made it happen recently and I couldn’t wait to put on my most feminine look for a morning with the gals. Some Taryn Rose boots arrived just in time and inspired a head to toe neutral getup that felt apropos with a champagne glass in hand. The rose gold boots called the Cassidy are just about the prettiest things in my closet at the moment. They’re from the Taryn Rose Spring 17 collection—yep brand spankin new folks!—and are crazy comfortable to top it off. Side note, I have pretty high arches so boots tend to be tricky in my world, but this pair I could walk in for days! And, wait for it, there is actually memory foam inside the footbed so it almost feels like you’re walking on air. I’m a believer in comfort being the ultimate luxury, so does Taryn Rose.

Brunching and feminine looks aside I’ve been all about this pretty light colored boot since every other pair is brown or black in my wardrobe, a refreshing break from the norm. It’s turned over a new leaf of craving all things light and airy as we head into Winter. I’ve been pairing my rose gold boots with all my soft ivory knits, even picked up white rimmed sunglasses and have my eye on a light leather handbag for everyday wear. I love the whole Taryn Rose line for this very reason, almost every shoe from the line would fit into my lifestyle—I can dress them up or down, wear them to work or to pick Elin up from school. Today I’m giving away a $500 credit to Taryn Rose to one lucky winner. Here’s how you can enter: subscribe to the Taryn Rose newsletter here, make sure to like my instagram post here and follow @officialtarynrose. Winner will be selected on January 19. Be sure to check out the whole collection over at TarynRose.com. I promise you, your feet will thank you.Photography by Jacqueline Pilar // Thank you to Taryn Rose for supporting this post, all opinions are my own.
