Tiny Valentines

February 14, 2018

I’ll take any excuse to throw a party for Elin and some of her buddies. I can’t help but get carried away with the details and have way too much fun designing everything from the colors and tabletop to goodie bags that every kid gets excited over. Naturally, we had to do something sweet to celebrate Valentine’s Day. So Elin invited a few friends over (“girls only mama”) and I set up a corner of our yard for some valentine’s day card makin’ and cookie decorating.

I pulled out Elin’s Krethaus art table from inside, covered it with a Rough Linen tablecloth and surrounded it with Hedgehouse throwbeds. There was a spot at the table for each little one with their name, different sized hearts to decorate and an envelope full of stickers, doily hearts and glue.

For the moms, rosé and personalized stationary... -

Thanks to a magnum bottle of Summer Water Rosé and some personalized stationary from Minted, the moms got a something sweet too. It was the least I could do for sending their kids home with a sugar high. Minted napkins, vintage plates and liberty ribbon.

But the best part? Getting a Valentine from some sticky hands.
