You know that point in March when you officially start saying out loud—typically with a long drawn-out dramatic sigh—”I’m so over Winter.” I’m saying it and I don’t even live where there’s snow on the ground. This is the part where everyone on the East Coast rolls their eyes at me. Am I right? I have no right to complain, I know but boy am I ready for some warmer days. Or at least that don’t need a sweater kind of weather.
I overheated on some hot tea prior to taking these photos, and was convincing myself it was warm enough for a barely-there silk shirt. Mind-over-matter, Spring is coming, if I say it enough will it just appear? Here are three things to wear this Spring.
A Clean White Blouse
I prefer something that’s subtly sheer and collard. Always have and always will. Here’s why, transitioning into a new season can be tricky, start with something basic like white. Also, something silky and sheer moves with the breeze, and we get plenty of that in the Springtime. Wearing a blouse by Paige Denim.
SlingBack Shoes
They’re having a moment. So either run out and buy a pair or raid your grandma’s closet. The more special the heel the better. I can’t get enough of these Tibi Sean Slingbacks because of the rounded modern heel.
Spice Up Your Specs
Nothing says a new season like a new pair of sunnies. Right now I’m all about the translucent shades by Stella McCartney. Currently planning my whole swimwear repertoire around them.
