Ever find a piece that makes you want to plan a vacation around it? Happens to me all the time. Especially at this time of year when wanderlust seems to takeover. I’ve been living in the Dôen Piper dress and daydreaming of all the summery places I could take it. Three in particular I wouldn’t mind running around in ruffles with a belly full of wine and cheese. What about you?
Mallorca. This one has been on my list now for years, one of these days we’ll make it happen. It seems like the ultimate place to pull out pretty linen, cotton pieces.
Laguna Beach. Something about the crystal clear water makes me immediately think of crisp white pieces with a feminine feel. Plus that ocean breeze makes airy dresses like this one dance a little, which I love.
Grasse, France. Anywhere in France really, but specifically this spot because it matches the romantic vibe of this dress.
I took these photos at the Santa Barbara Mission Rose Gardens, a perfect place for romantics ruffles, rosé, picnics and sunshines. Almost (almost) filling that void for a European adventure.
