And here we are again! The Season of Gathering has arrived and I couldn’t be more excited to start in on the festivities and share the joy of the season with family and friends.
Kicking off this year’s Could I Have That? Holiday Gift Guide series with the first person to consider on your shopping list – the hostess. The holiday season brings lots of invites, and lots of work for the hostess. Make sure to spoil them and never show up empty handed.
Instead of the usual bottle of wine, consider a personalized gift suited for the decor of the hostess’ house or aesthetic. Typically, when it comes to gifts for the home, you can’t go wrong with a neutral palette; something cozy or a festive candle…An easy way to make a simple or small gift feel thoughtful is to put a little extra energy into the wrapping…use pretty dried greenery mixed with multiple ribbon textures and a hand written note to top it off.
Another tip: I also love giving themed gifts like this “Brew” book along with a local bag of coffee…because after a long evening of hosting, you can always use a good cup of jo!
