This past weekend was slow and quiet, which was just what the doctor ordered since I’m heading to New York this week. Whenever I leave for a trip I notoriously get anxious but I’m happy to report that this time felt a little different. We didn’t plan much the day before I was supposed to leave and it gave me time to be organized, plan ahead and soak in some time with Elin and Todd. It’s been a while since I’ve been in New York and September is my absolute favorite month in the big apple, so there was that to look forward to.
