Living in Santa Barbara has it’s definite perks, however one thing we don’t get often are fashion presentations. Over the weekend I was invited to one of my longtime favorite designers, Heidi Merrick who hosted her Spring/Summer 2020 presentation on her land between Carpinteria and Ojai. It was hands down one of my favorite shows I’ve attended because of the surreal rugged setting juxtaposed with the incredibly chic and cool collection, which included sophisticated designs, shimmery gold sequins, perfectly executed prints and feminine, classic silhouettes that Heidi has mastered. After the show it was a casual gathering with tacos, rosé and an insanely beautiful sunset.
