Someone asked me recently if my Khaite Osa Raffia Tote bag was worth the price tag and it dawned on me I haven’t sung the praises of this purchase enough with you guys. I bought it back in June before a trip we were about to take and sort of hit the ground running with it sans an official inauguration or shopping tale. But it truly needs its tale to be told because it’s the bag I’ve been telling all my girlfriends (and fellow moms) that they need. 

For starters it’s a Khaite bag and my first official piece from the brand that seems to be pumping a sense of “cool” into every girls wardrobe. In a nutshell it’s the brand all the “it girls” are wearing and for good reason—what else do we need besides luxe knitwear, elevated basics, simple yet modern silhouettes, straight leg jeans and suede boots? There are so many things from this brand that I’m coveting and chose this bag as my first purchase because it felt like the perfect splurge and a piece I knew I’d use daily. It has not disappointed. 

I love this bag. I love it with jeans and a tee, I love that it feels basic yet oh so special, I love the black strap detail lending itself to all my classic black pieces, I love the woven raffia (which has remained in great shape) and I love that it fits my lifestyle and all the trips, lunches, errands etc. with kids when I need my bag to be like Mary Poppins. Needless to say, it’s been worth every penny.
